About Nicky

Nicky is a strategic, proactive, commercially aware and business focused HR Consultant and Executive Coach with 20 years’, in-depth, HR experience in blue chip manufacturing and retail organisations.

In her corporate experience at senior level she has designed and delivered strategic corporate people plans aligned to business goals on a national and international level and worked closely with directors and senior leadership teams to deliver improved people performance. She has coached senior teams to deliver transformational corporate change programmes and coached individuals to bring about personal change.

As A Coach: Nicky’s style is to work with senior leaders using a variety of coaching techniques and styles, to facilitate personal and professional growth.  Her approach is insightful, flexible and pragmatic, grounded in experience and in the employment of proven coaching techniques in her core areas of expertise: cognitive behavioural coaching, solution focused, performance coaching, stress coaching and problem focused coaching methodology.  

Her background ensures that she can appreciate and understand the corporate environment and the pressures this brings for senior executives. She has also worked in both education, health and not for profit sectors.  This breadth of experience enables her to work with senior leaders effectively to achieve their potential in these contexts. 

As a HR Consultant: Nicky has in depth experience in all aspects of People Strategy from design through to implementation; including OD, Change Management, Operational HR, HR Information systems, Communication and Project Management skills at a strategic and implementation level,  

She has the ability to focus on priorities and balance demands; to influence and engage key stakeholders; a pragmatic and flexible approach; strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills; excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills; and, underpinned by the highest level of personal and professional integrity

As a Mediator:  Nicky is also able to work with people to help resolve conflict in the organisational context, helping individuals to seek resolution in difficult circumstances.  She is an accredited mediator.

Qualifications:  Nicky holds certificates in coaching, performance coaching, stress coaching and problem focused coaching, as well as coaching psychology.  She has an MA in Strategic Human Resource Management and is qualified to British Psychological Society’s level A&B in psychometric assessment and accredited in the use of the 360 Inspiring Leadership Model.  She is also a member of the Association of Coaches and the CIPD.
